Mondrian AI, a company specializing in AI transformation (AX), has signed an MOU with the Jeonju International Film Festival to support the advancement of the cultural and creative industries through AI technology.
On May 4, Mondrian AI announced that it signed a sponsorship MOU with the Jeonju International Film Festival and several AI startups at the Gloster Hotel in Jeonju to support regional arts and culture and the continued growth of the film festival.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dae-ui Hong, CEO of Mondrian AI; Eui-jeong Kim, CEO of Weflo; Dong-eun Yeon, CEO of Twelve Journey; Eun-young Noh, Director of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau of Jeonju City; Jun-ho Jung and Seong-uk Sim, Co-Directors of the Jeonju International Film Festival; Seong-ho Jang, Managing Director of the festival; and representatives from AI startups.
The partnership aims to explore opportunities for collaboration between AI technologies and cultural content while establishing a successful cooperation model between a regional international cultural event and innovative startups. The partners also share a commitment to creating social value by supporting local communities while providing AI companies' advanced technologies to filmmakers and creators.
Mondrian AI plans to support filmmakers through its GPU cloud platform, Runyour AI, and its AI agent development solution, Runyour Agent. The company will provide the infrastructure needed for film production, including video editing, CG production, and AI-powered scenario analysis, enabling creators to bring their ideas to life without technical limitations.
Dae-ui Hong, CEO of Mondrian AI, said, "We are honored to contribute Mondrian AI's AI technologies to the Jeonju International Film Festival, one of Korea's leading international cultural events. Beyond sponsorship, we hope to help filmmakers make practical use of AI through infrastructure support such as Runyour AI, enabling them to incorporate AI into their creative work more easily and efficiently."
The Jeonju International Film Festival expects AI technology to become a new driving force for the film industry and plans to accelerate its digital transformation through close collaboration with AI startups.
Starting with this partnership, Mondrian AI plans to continue expanding the convergence of AI technologies with a wide range of cultural and creative fields while pursuing both community contribution and technological innovation.
