Mondrian AI Holds Defense Venture Center Plaque Ceremony and Accelerates Defense AI Business

- Signed an official support agreement with a regional defense venture center last February, recognized for outstanding private AI infrastructure technology
- Secured full, customized support for the next five years, including defense specialized tech development funding, military test evaluations, and market expansion
- Accelerating K-smart defense realization and defense sector entry driven by the enterprise AI platform Yennifer
Mondrian AI, an artificial intelligence cloud and platform specialist company led by CEO Hong Dae-ui, announced on July 15 that it held a plaque ceremony for its selection as a partner company, following its official support agreement with the Defense Venture Center last February, thereby accelerating its defense business.
The Defense Venture Center is an institution where the Defense Technology Promotion Institute and local governments cooperate to help private small and medium venture companies with superior technology enter the defense market. Under this agreement, Mondrian AI has officially gained the qualification to carry out defense projects with practical and close support from state agencies for five years until February 2031.
Through this partner selection, the company will receive comprehensive benefits necessary for entering the defense market, including technology development and R&D support required by the military, assistance with strict military test evaluation procedures, defense specialized technology and administrative consulting, and domestic and overseas defense market expansion. This significantly reduces the risks that can occur in the high barrier defense market and enables stable business expansion.
Mondrian AI plans to lead the AI transformation of the defense sector centered on its enterprise AI infrastructure solution, Yennifer. In particular, having recently obtained the international standard information security management system certification ISO/IEC 27001 and thus proving the highest level of security capabilities demanded by the military, the company plans to accelerate the advancement of defense specialized solutions such as AI based intelligent command and control systems and large scale defense data analysis infrastructure provision, leveraging the support of the Defense Venture Center.
Mondrian AI CEO Hong Dae-ui stated that the agreement with the Defense Venture Center will serve as a strong bridgehead allowing the company's innovative AI infrastructure technology to be introduced into actual defense capabilities. He added an ambition to actively utilize the center's full support to contribute to the construction of an AI science and technology powerhouse promoted by the South Korean military and leap forward as a core partner enhancing K-defense competitiveness.
