Mondrian AI Joined the 'Banwol-Sihwa AX Shared Growth and Cooperation Declaration Ceremony'

On July 20, Mondrian AI took part in the "Banwol-Sihwa Artificial Intelligence Transformation (AX) Shared Growth and Cooperation Declaration Ceremony," held at the Siheung Business Center. The event brought together industry, academia, research institutions, and government to develop the Banwol-Sihwa National Industrial Complex into Korea's leading hub for AI-driven manufacturing innovation. As a participating company in the "Banwol-Sihwa Mini Alliance," Mondrian AI attended the ceremony and ran an exhibition booth at the accompanying event, the "M.AX Caravan."
The Front Line of Manufacturing AI Transformation: Banwol-Sihwa National Industrial Complex
Home to roughly 22,000 companies, Banwol-Sihwa is the largest industrial complex in the greater Seoul area, with 96.8% of its manufacturing tenants being small and medium-sized businesses with fewer than 50 employees. The Banwol-Sihwa Mini Alliance, launched that day, aims to move beyond innovation led by a handful of anchor companies, instead pursuing "horizontal expansion," where multiple companies jointly accumulate and share equipment, process, and operational data.
AI Transformation Demand on the Ground, Seen at the M.AX Caravan
The M.AX Caravan, which connects manufacturers seeking to adopt AI with technology and solution providers, brought together about 100 companies from both sides. At its booth, Mondrian AI presented technology and solutions that connect scattered manufacturing data and infrastructure through AI. Many attendees showed strong interest in a step-by-step approach that starts AI transformation with "small but complete success cases."
Mondrian AI will continue working with the Banwol-Sihwa Mini Alliance to help small and medium-sized manufacturers turn their on-site data into real AI outcomes.
