Mondrian AI Signs MOU with Motif Technologies for AI Technology and Business Collaboration
Combining Mondrian AI’s AI infrastructure capabilities with Motif’s AI technology
Advancing industry-specific AI commercialization based on both companies’ core strengths
AI infrastructure and platform company Mondrian AI (CEO Daeui Hong) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Motif Technologies (CEO Jung-hwan Lim), a company specializing in AI foundation models and agents, to collaborate on AI technology and business using GPU and AI cloud infrastructure. The partnership brings together Mondrian AI’s GPU infrastructure, AI cloud, and AI agent deployment and operations expertise with Motif Technologies’ foundation models and model API technology. The goal is to build an integrated commercialization framework spanning AI model development, serving, agent deployment, and real-world business applications.
Demand for generative AI and AI agents is rapidly growing across enterprises and public institutions. However, organizations still face significant operational challenges, including securing high-performance GPU infrastructure, managing model operating costs, protecting internal data, and deploying AI in private or air-gapped environments. By combining their infrastructure, platform technologies, and agent operations expertise, the two companies aim to lower these barriers and provide an end-to-end environment where customers can reliably use AI models and agent services. The companies will jointly develop an integrated business model covering high-performance GPU infrastructure deployment and operations, foundation model training and inference, model API delivery, and the integration and operation of customized enterprise AI agent services. This will enable Motif Technologies’ AI models to operate reliably on Mondrian AI’s cloud and platform, while improving both GPU utilization and market accessibility for model APIs.
Key areas of collaboration include GPU and AI cloud infrastructure for AI model development and inference; foundation model API serving and integration with enterprise AI agent platforms; on-premises and air-gapped AI and agent deployments for the public sector and manufacturing industries; and the joint discovery of national R&D and private-sector proof-of-concept projects. In the mid to long term, the companies will also explore joint commercialization opportunities based on AI data centers and token factories.
Going forward, Mondrian AI and Motif Technologies will pursue technology validation, customer development, joint proposals, and business development in stages. They will also work to develop industry-specific AI deployment models and revenue structures that combine both companies’ technologies.
