Announcing the leap to "NeoCloud," a next-generation AI cloud vision
Real-world adoption success: Maximizing research operations efficiency at leading educational and research institutions including Seoul National University of Science and Technology and Sungkyunkwan University
Full-stack technology integration: A Ready-to-Use environment combining Dell workstations with Yennefer (MLOps) and MonStack (AI libraries)—enabling research to begin the day of installation
NeoCloud vision: Expanding beyond the limits of traditional cloud into a next-generation AI-dedicated cloud and AI Data Center (AIDC) optimized for GPU compute
Mondrian AI (CEO Daeui Hong), an enterprise specializing in AI Transformation (AX), announced at the Daol TS Media Day held on the 26th that it has unveiled both the proven results of its integrated AI appliance MonBox and its vision for evolving into the NeoCloud Group—a next-generation AI Data Center (AIDC) specialist.
Vice President Park Hyun-kyu presenting MonBox case studies and the vision for the NeoCloud Group.
The presentation was delivered by Park Hyun-kyu, Vice President and CBO, who explained how MonBox is solving complex AI challenges in real industrial environments. MonBox combines infrastructure from Dell Technologies—the world's leading server vendor—with Mondrian AI's MLOps platform Yennefer and its AI runtime package MonStack.
■ "Let Researchers Focus on Research"—Expanding Adoption Across Seoul Tech, Sungkyunkwan, and Beyond
At Seoul National University of Science and Technology, MonBox addressed the long-standing technical challenges of selecting and maintaining AI research platforms and infrastructure. Through a Windows-like, intuitive web-based interface, complex server configuration issues were eliminated—creating an environment where students and researchers no longer have to carry the burden of system administration and can devote themselves entirely to research itself. This shift in focus was cited as the most significant outcome.
In addition, leading university research labs—including Sungkyunkwan University—have adopted MonBox to centralize fragmented data management and to flexibly distribute GPU resources via vGPU, enabling multiple researchers to efficiently run high-performance AI workloads. Adoption in academic environments is spreading rapidly.
■ Beyond the Limits of Traditional Cloud—Entering the "NeoCloud" Era
Building on the success of MonBox, Mondrian AI announced its leap to the NeoCloud Group, a new cloud paradigm built for the age of AI.
While traditional cloud architectures have been centered on VMs and storage, Mondrian AI's NeoCloud is built around three pillars: high-performance GPU infrastructure optimized for large-scale AI workloads, a predictable cost structure, and a fast, one-click MLOps environment. The strategy is to deliver both the flexibility and the economic viability of high-performance AI infrastructure that even hyperscalers have struggled to provide.
■ Partnering with Daol TS to Lead the Enterprise AI Market
Backed by Daol TS's robust hardware supply chain, Mondrian AI plans to strengthen its nationwide technical support network and expand the distribution of MonBox—paired with Dell's server lineup—across every industry sector.
Park Hyun-kyu, Vice President of Mondrian AI, commented: "MonBox is the only fully integrated solution in Korea that lets you begin AI research the very day it's installed. Going beyond simple infrastructure supply, we will lead Korea's core AI infrastructure based on the hands-on expertise we've built together with major customers including Samsung, SK, and the Financial Supervisory Service."
