Mondrian AI and Inha University Hospital Form "Super-Gap AX Consortium" to Develop an LLM Agent-Based MRD Analysis Platform

Mondrian AI, a company specializing in AI transformation (AX), and Inha University Hospital have formed the "Super-Gap AX (AI Transformation) Consortium," organized by the Artificial Intelligence Industry Convergence Agency, to begin development of an LLM Agent-based platform for the analysis and interpretation of minimal residual disease (MRD), aimed at advancing innovation in precision medicine.
The project is designed to secure breakthrough AI technologies that will lead AI transformation in healthcare. The consortium has established a complementary collaboration framework that supports analysis, interpretation, and clinical application to help predict cancer recurrence at an early stage and assist healthcare professionals in making optimized clinical decisions.
As part of the consortium, Mondrian AI is responsible for developing genomics-based MRD analysis technology and an LLM Agent-based interpretation platform. Building on existing statistical analysis models, the company will develop advanced LLM Agents and implement a modular pipeline that provides one-stop support from data input to result generation through an end-to-end system.
Inha University Hospital will provide clinical data based on its extensive medical expertise and conduct clinical validation of the platform's analytical results. Through this process, the consortium aims to thoroughly verify the platform's practical applicability in clinical settings and further enhance its reliability.
The project will be carried out in phases, including proof of concept (PoC), platform development, and clinical validation. Ultimately, the platform is expected to be commercialized as an AI SaaS platform capable of accurately interpreting cancer recurrence risk associated with minimal residual disease while supporting clinical decision-making.
A representative of Mondrian AI's Super-Gap AX Consortium said, "This project represents more than technology development. It will serve as an important milestone in bringing AI transformation to clinical practice. Through the successful completion of the PoC and the development of the AI SaaS platform, we aim to establish early cancer recurrence detection capabilities and lay the foundation for globally competitive precision medicine AI services in Korea."
